Warrior widow flex for me?

If I use a 75 in reebok sickick 11k cut down 2 inches, what flex should I get in a widow? Gonna have to cut 6 inches off or so. Stick with 75?

I cut down my 11k 75 flex one inch, and my warrior 6 inches, still the warriors are whippier. I believe the new warrior sticks that are 63'' have a cut zone that does not affect stiffness

Since we're on the topic of the flex on the widow, I was wondering what flex to get for the covert dt1 as they have the same taper.

I am currently using an int x60 60 flex cut 4 inches to the 70 flex marker and was wondering if I should get a 70 flex dt1 or a 55 flex dt1? The 70 flex dt1 felt a lot stiffer than my x60 when I gave it a little push in stores even though in the covert dt1 thread it was suggested to get the 70 flex if you usually use a 65-70 flex. Is it supposed to feel super stiff until you actually take a shot with it?

Would I be better off with the 55 flex then? It seems like quite a huge jump from my 70 flex x60.

I feel that the vapors play stiffer than marked, but I really can't say in your case. I haven't used those sticks enough to draw a direct comparison.

old rule of thumb used to be if you were able to deflect the shaft an inch using just your arms and no body weight. i really don't know what the rule of thumb is anymore with all the new technology and flex profiles, but you can use that as a guide. there are a number of other factors too and personal preference.

I think you should, but it takes a little adapting for slapshots if you use a stiffer stick.

Ok that's good to know as I'm able to flex my x60 like that but not the 70 flex dt1. I will get the 55 flex and since you said it plays a little stiffer than the widow, then maybe it could be like my cut down 60 flex x60 at the same height. Thank you for being so helpful.
