cold feet....

I've been using these Bauer socks:

At first I thought my feet were getting cold from poor circulation (i did the pencil trick on my bauer vapors and it appears the volume of the boot is a bit low for my foot). I leave the middle 3-4 laces a little loose, but crank down on the top 3.

But I skated with a thicker pair of socks the other day and didn't notice the cold as much.

Can anybody recommend a sock that may be a bit warmer than these, but won't add much more volume? Also need one that wicks moisture. The cotton socks I used the other week were soaked.

Swiftwick, end of story. Think the Merino would be a good choice. I have a bunch of different pairs for golf during different times of the year and they're great.

I was using swift wick merino socks for a long time. Amazing. Just recently switched to the ones you linked to. Like them more.

I'd try the swiftwick if I were you.

I've heard good things about the HEATR material, but have never tried it personally. I love the WSI stuff that I do own and it holds up really well. Best part is, it's made here in the US.
