Perfect Glove Search - Mix between Vapor XX & XXX

Afternoon Gents,

I'm currently varying between a pair of pro-stock Vapor XX gloves and a pair of Vapor XXX retail gloves on a weekly basis. I like both aspects of both of these gloves, however I'm in the search for a 'perfect' glove (I don't mind if it's retail or custom, hell I'd buy 5 pairs if I was getting exactly what I wanted).

I like the palm (identified in the Gear Sightings thread as having a digital overlay) and the short cuff on the Vapor XX's (please see photos below) whilst I like the tightness of the Vapor XXX's. Ideally I'd like a glove that covers all of these bases.

I'm a bit of a glove wh*re and in the past I've worn (mostly pro-stock) Easton Synergy 800's, Eagle X72's, Warrior Franchise's, Reebok 4 Rolls, TPS R8's off the top of my head. None of these have been exactly what I've been looking for, however the Franchise's with the Hossa cuff probably came the closest.

I'm just looking for some viable options, like I say I'd be happy to go down the custom route. Initially I'm thinking new Vapors or Warrior Creepers.

How does the fit of the Vapor X60's compare to the older models?

How does the fit of the Warrior Creepers compare to the other gloves I've worn?

The X:60s might work for you.

I don't like the Creepers but I also prefer the open cuff on the Vapor XXX. ...and the Vapor XXX is my favorite glove.

To be honest if I could continue to buy Vapor XX or XXX's I'd be happy.. wish Bauer had a good custom program! Lot's of love for their old gloves.

No problem, I hear you there. You can still find them occasionally, I'm pretty well stocked on Vapor XXX gloves... they're out there.

I'll keep looking.. failing that I'll give the X60's a shot.

In terms of the new Bauers, are the 13's the same as the 14's with a short cuff or is the whole glove smaller?
