Hockeydog 8 Report post Posted December 6, 2012 SugruA buddy sent me the above link to this stuff. Looks like it could have some uses with hockey equipment. On the site they show the putty like stuff used in shoes to make them more comfortable.I have NOT used this stuff, but thought maybe the pro shop folks might want a look at it. Neal 41 Report post Posted December 6, 2012 Haven't found a use for it in hockey yet, but I've used it on a couple things around the house. It works pretty well. I was pleasantly surprised.
TeamHonda401 54 Report post Posted December 6, 2012 How tacky is the feel after it cures? Custom grips would be appealing.
Neal 41 Report post Posted December 7, 2012 How tacky is the feel after it cures? Custom grips would be appealing. It cures to a rubbery consistency with no stickiness. Actually not unlike the grip on an Oggie Grip. Actually, thanks for the idea. I have an older Oggie Grip that I've worn the rubber right off of. I might use some Sugru to build the grip back up.
