Rick Nash Curve

Recommended Posts

I've heard a lot about the Rick Nash curve, does anyone have a pic of it? I'm RH and looking for a tapered blade for my L-2, and I'm leaning towards either:

TPS R2(Maybe Nash if I can see what it looks like)

Inno Fedorov pattern

Bauer XV Hossa

Or Synthesis Si-Core Iginla

Thanks ahead

EDIT: Woo hoo 100th post baby!!!!

Retail? Supposed to be similar to a Sakic. I haven't seen many, but I believe its a little larger curve with a tiny bit less loft. I know its been posted a few times, but its very close to a Sakic.

Ahhh okay thanks, maybe I won't lead towards that curve, maybe I'll go with a Messier, I liked that curve.

What do you guys think is the best blade out of the 4 I put up, and add a Gaborik L-2 to that list

Thanks again guys.

My favorite curve out of the three would have to be the Iginla or the Hossa, theyre probably tied, I really like both of the curves, so I am looking for something close to that curve

The Inno Nash the I had was sort of between a Nash and a Shanny - not quite as close to the toe as the Shanny, but not as close to the heel as the Sakic. As I recall the toe was rounded, not square like the Shanny.

Eazy is referring to the TPS Nash pattern. The Inno Nash is completely different curve.

Does the Inno Fedorov = A small Sakic, and the Kovy = Drury? I can't tell from the pics on their website..

Federov = Modano

Kovalev = Drury

They're not clones but they're almost identical. The federov also has a 4.5 lie.

Closest Inno curve to Sakic would be Mogilny. A bit more mellow of a curve than Sakic but other than that very similar ( both mid-curves, both 5.5 lie, both rounded toe). I use both on a regular basis and there's not really a noticeable difference for me as far as adjusting technique.

Well i used to use th nash quite frequently and to me it seems that the sakic is more of a mid and has more loft than the nash but thats IMO

i find the nash has a more consistent shape too, the sakic goes a little bit wider at the toe, the nash stays the same shape. also the nash xn10 i have curves a little closer tot he toe then a sakic
