Those were DR 5500s, and they're actually pretty decent looking. They just looked like bunk when he went to the rangers because they did a terrible job of painting the gloves in nyr colors...

Nice gloves but THC made him paint over the DR logo.

how come these guys playing in Europe don't have gloves the color of their uniforms...i.e. jagr as well as the guy checking him wearing off-colored gloves?

The different colors kind of just adds to the craziness of all the logos and colors on their uniforms
