Where to get lie 3 stick?

Hi

I used bauer x7.0 Kane and x60 pm9 before. Switched to warrior diablo kovalchuk lie 4. I liked it better and i keep it up to under my nose long when on skates. I look at tape and wear is even vs on other sticks I used. I skate with an average knee bend I think. I think if I can get lie 3 then cut bit more then I can get a pretty good combination. I don't find lie 3 sticks at online stores though.

Lie 3 is only available in youth sticks I believe. The lie 4's that Warrior have are actually lie 5's based on other manufacturers measuring methods. Your Kovalchuk lie 4 should be very close to your PM9 in reality. I have a Spezza pro pattern Mako2 that is a true lie 4. It is noticeably lower than the lie 5 sticks I have. It's listed in the buy and sell section if you are interested.

Thanks, I tried to put warrior koval & bauer pm9 together to see who is lower. Funny to say it got quite irritated from trying to align them depending on which side stick is on it shoes slight off then they look about the same them one lower than another and like wise. Is it just me or like you say they are too close??

Like others have said, the Warrior lie 4 blade that you had was closer to a lie 5 of other brands so what you need might just be a "real" lie 4. I was in the same situation and got a Base BM09 (exactly like a PM9) but in a 4 lie since their version is available in lies 4, 5, and 6. Now I'm a happy camper.

Pro pattern is what the player actually uses. Many pros do not use retail patterns. The retail patterns simply put a pro's name on a company pattern. It's not what that player actually uses. I hope that helps.

Yes, it makes sense. I wonder what Datsyuks curve in pro look like... I actually also got reebok 16k in P38 datsyuk and I worked with it today and now gonna try it for awhile...I may switch from warrior kovalchuk :)

I think Datsyuk's actual curve is a small to medium sized mid-toe that is slightly open. It's also a relatively long blade with minimal rocker.

Some pros have several patterns, often slight variations on a main theme. On the extreme end, Mogilny used drastically different curve types.
