Disassemble completely and do it by hand - if the nut continues to turn, the plastic washer inside the nut is gone and it won't lock.

If it does lock, then you may have overtightened in the holder and it has nothing to hold on to. You might want to consider putting a metal washer on the inside of the holder (harder to do when it's assembled to skate)

Ok, when I tighten the nut on the screw just in my hand, it does stop turning, but when assembled it screws together to a certain point then keeps turning without locking. The other skate is the same so I assume this is normal.

Maybe you have a Custom+ bolts intead of LS2 bolts? The Custom+ bolts are smaller, and would slip enough to turn in the LS2 steel's slot.

That's really strange. It should stop once it hits the holder.

I have tightened it so it is like the other skate, so hopefully that should be it sorted.
