Bauer 5100 helmet fit

I'm looking to replace my helmets. Have a narrower shaped head and been using a 4500 & 7500 in medium. Both fit well just hate how the 7500 pads come unglued and hard so quickly and 5100 looks to have bit more advanced padding. Question is does the 5100 fit like those or for a more round head? My LHS doesnt carry it to try on but can special order for me.

I believe I had a 4500 (it may have been a 4000, I can't remember) & I fit into the same size 5100 comfortably. I was able to try it on & purchase it at a LHS, so I was not in the same situation as you & i don't really know how to describe my head shape, but I don't think I have a narrow one (my fitted hat size was bigger than 7.25 & I prefer straight arm sunglasses because the ones that curl behind the ears are never long enough & always end up pinching me since they don't sit correctly). Hope that helps a bit & isn't clear as mud...

Also, I love my 5100 - it seems better ventilated than my previous helmet & I like the tool less adjustment feature of it as well.

My head is wide, and the only helmets I could handle were the 5100 and 4500 (which was wider on me). Everything else, including 7500, 8500, 9500, was too tight at the temples. This was with XL helmets.

Based on my experience, I would be very surprised if you can get a good fit in both the 4500 and 7500.
