koho vector shaft

They were only similar in that they had a textured grip on them. They were pretty boxy and big and not like any of the Innos at the time.

As for the Nike shafts, I've seen some pop up on eBay under absurd ($150+) prices.

I think the troika was maroon on one side and white w/ thin green ovals on the other. Fedorov was probably one of the first ones to use it along w/ his infamous white nIke air accel elite skates.

Yeah, that was it. I bought it for the novelty. It might just become a lamp, though.

Anyone remember the yellow Pavel Bure Bauer composite?

Yes. Bauer D.E.T.....5500? Not sure of the number. I need one to add to my collection.

Completely agree. I MUST have one at some point in my life. I bought one when I was in peewees from sport authority for about 100 bucks (!!!) but returned it b/c I was not ready for senior sticks. One of my biggest regrets. Now I haunt ebay like a junkie looking for an old dealer.

I had one it was my first major stick purchase at the time and I followed it up with the Rangers colored Easton but the one I am always trying to find is the Titan TPM 2020 of all the sticks I ever used (a lot) that's the one stick I never got it still bothers me haha.

Lmao the checker board Easton! That's awsome, good call.

I went through many many sticks but I never got rid of my 5100 Gretzky chrome. It took me months to find that damn thing in the late 90s...

All of my shafs are old as dirt. I still have my red x-stiff corebeam 9 that was a replacement for one I snapped. And a Nike Quest 1 shaft which I think is an inno made product. It torques a lot under flex. Kind of shoots inaccurate bombs. I snapped all of my 1100 standards right at the kick point. I still have my original run innovative novius though which shoots absolute bombs but also torques a bit too much imo. And a pro stock vic x weave which is just an abs cap with different paint. My favorite old stick that I still have is my christiaan diamondlite 110. I LOVED those things. True temper made them and I can't find any fault.

My gretzky chrome actually has an almost equally ancient x-treme graphite blade in it.

The remains of my old sticks.

Those vectors and bauer 5500 shafts liked to snap. The corebeam, abs cap, corelight, x weave were all made by fiberspar and they all failed the same way. The corners of the shaft were quite glassy and if they ate a hack just right the material chunked out. Innos tended to snap down low. I used to see easton aluminum shafts develop splits occasionally, but I think that was more due to ppl being berks with blowtorches.

That is a good collection I was a fan of the Vic I remember Miro Satan used one when he played for the Sabers. I still enjoy the classic sticks and remember the first aluminum sticks.

wowsers Keith great collection.

I've still got the same exact Novius you have pictured.

My question is, what is the pattern on the composite blade in the Easton Aluminum?

And thats like the first composite replacement blade that there ever was, what was that 1994?

Oh, the xtreme graphite is a Leetch curve. Big heel curve, square toe 5.5 lie. All of my inno blades are schneider pro stocks. I bought many a schneider blade when I was able to as you don't seem to get too many big wedges with a 5 lie at retail. Love that curve. I think GB1/GB2 were the first and had a blue tint, then xt graphite followed, then ultra lite kevlar which had great feel but was a very dead shooting blade, ultra graphite followed, then the original black hosel z-carbons which were just great blades. My knowledge of easton blade timeline ends with those st blades that had the three ribs inside.

I used to buy diamondlites direct from christian before they were sold for like $40 a piece. I would get 110s and 85s. Love those shafts. They are like an easton ultralite on steroids. And they don't torque much if at all.

I used to have a tisport tg17 titanium shaft that was wrapped in carbon fiber, but IDK where it is. They weren't around for very long. I didn't use it much because I didn't want to ruin it but that gretzky chrome used to shoot bombs. I think I got a blue aluminum t-flex 100 and ordered pro stocks form cyclone taylor and waited two weeks to get them having no clue what they were sending my way but always hoping for one roenick and at least one jim campbell blade.
