Base Hockey BC68 curve

Hmm. This curve looks interesting. Hopefully it is something close to the Kovalchuk pro, or smaller Kreps, but with the higher lie and bigger rocker because those were my two issues with the Kovy curve.

Did you contact the company cemetery? If so and you hear anything, please keep us up to date.

I did send them basically the same questions through their website right before I posted this thread, if they answer I'll post the response here. I'm very interested as I loved the Kovalchuk blades I had and now use an E28 Mako 2 and love that also. A copy of either or a mix of both sounds awesome.

I am currently using this curve. It is not the "modified Kovalchuk" and having not seen an E28 I can’t compare it to that but I can tell what it is.

It is a modified Sakic that has more curve in the toe and I believe that the shape of the toe is a little different than a Sakic (but don’t hold me to that). I was told that it is a copy of Ronning's son's curve. The Base web site description of the blade is dead on.

I hope that helps.

Thank you, very helpful! If possible could you post some pics of your blade?

I saw this blade at base the other day, its actually very similar to the E28 however I couldn't compare the both side to side so don't hold me to that. The once difference I saw was the BC68 has a wider toe whereas the E28 is more rounded. Easiest way to explain it is a Sakic with more toe.
