Eagle Kangaroo Pocket

I have a pair of x72 gloves that I like very very very much. One of the things I like so much about them is the kangaroo pocket, which I use sometimes in a pretty unorthodox way (I made a little pad to put in it, and I flip it out, to provide extended forearm protection, which allows me to wear very minimal elbow pads without sacrificing all the protection on my arm)

Since the x72's are near-impossible to find anymore, are there any other (especially more currently available) lines that also have that kangaroo pouch?

Are you talking about the interior backroll pad?

Maybe we mean the same thing? There is a light, thin pad segmented into two compartments, with a mesh pouch that you can stick a little extra padding in. My understanding is that it's meant to make the fit more snug if desired, but I'm using it differently.

Sounds like you're using it to get an old style extra long cuff. Hockey Monkey had x72 on sale at Labor Day. You just missed! Actually, I saw a pair at West Side Skate and Stick before I left New York a month ago. I think they were going for $150-170 or something. Really nice feeling glove.

No, there is not...If you really like doing that, every glove has that pad but without the pouch...just sew some additional foam on it. If you want it removable, I'm sure you can sew on some mesh(maybe recycle a mesh bag) to the pad.
