Hi all,

I've been using a total one 67 flex for the past 3/4 months, and it broke after I took a slapshot.

I've been looking at sticks and need some advice on what to get. I know it all comes down to preference, but I'd still like to know what you guys think.

I play in many leagues, so I play both forward and defense.

The sticks I've been looking at are:

Sherwood Nexon N12 Hockey Sticks Int

CCM RBZ Stage 2 Grip Hockey Sticks Int 2013 (Since it's new, advice for CCM RBZ 1 is good too :) )

Bauer Nexus 1000 Hockey Sticks Int

Thanks! :)

What is your playstyle like? Do you take many shots? What kinds of shots do you take? Do you need speed or more power in your shot?

Like to do tricks, mostly wrist shots, occasional slapshots, and passing. I've been using the PM9 for the most part. Both speed and power.. is good. Thanks

I wouldn't buy any of the top of the line sticks if you are in many leagues. If you want a high end stick look for one on clearance. I bought an original Total One on clearance months ago for $120. I don't take slapshots as a forward, so it feels like it's held up pretty well against even extreme beating. Most Supreme sticks will be more expensive than Vapor right now since the APX2 is coming out in the Fall. I can use low-kick point or mid-kick point, so I just pick the cheapest LOL.

If you are in many leagues most sticks will only hold up for 3/4 months at best. You're lucky if you get more than that.

My stick recommendations would be based on your kick point and curve. If you like Bauer and the PM9, I would go with any of these sticks:

Bauer Supreme One.7 (a little heavy at 500 grams, but it's $80 cheaper than the One.9)

Bauer Vapor 7.0 (super cheap plus PM9)

Just curious, what general area are you located in? I have a bunch of PM9 int67s sitting in my basement. Some are barely touched or brand new (Vapor XXVs/One95s). I've had an great run of not breaking sticks lately and wouldn't mind thinning out the pile to be honest.

Your best bet will have to be Bauer gear through Grant Phillips (myhockeydoctor.com) as he's the official distributor in Hong Kong. It's hard finding gear in that city (I used to live there), and no Canadian or American site will ship there. So you might be quite limited in your options.
