Helmet: 11k or 9900?

So after reading some things about the Re-Akt I don't think I'm ready to spend that much on it. Just the issues with sizing and tightness around the forehead, plus some foam pads falling out (on Total Hockey) makes me second guess too much.

Other than fit, what would be spec-wise greater for my needs? I have an 11k cage and love it, but I sweat like crazy already and my current helmet does not help much. I know Bauer is known for ventilation, but how similar is it to the 11k + comfort wise?

EDIT: Easton E700 looks like it has alot of ventilation also.

Fit is really the only thing you should consider when buying a helmet. That said, I find both the 11K and the 9900 very similar. I get a little better fit out of the RBK, but your head may be different. I find the ventilation to be comparable (very good) with both. They're similar helmets in terms of materials and adjustability. Whichever one has the least negative space when it's on your head and doesn't give you any discomfort is the best one for you.

Yeah, I just need to know if they both end up fitting well which has the best ventilation + comfort. It's impossible to tell trying on in store.

I've skated in both. I'm not particularly sensitive to heat/airflow, but I'd say they're the same. Both vent very well.

Heat wise they are similar but I found I could get a better lock on my head with the Rbk. Again, it depends on your head shape so go with the one that fits you the best.

I used both and comfort & durability was better on the 11k.
