Cutting 1100

Recommended Posts

You can cut it. Try and look for the fuse point in the stick. It shouldn't be too hard with the 1100. Remember to cut a little lower and ram the blade foam out from the other end. Then if the blade doesnt fit, cut it little by little to try and see where the tapered blade fits in.

The issue with the 1100 is that they are fused. Most people who try it complain that the epoxy that Inno uses to do the fusing is next to impossible to get out - it's not a hot melt glue after all.

If I were you? Don't get a righty and waste the shaft like that. It'll mess with the kick point as you'll likely end up just having to cut 2 to 3 inches of the shaft (just above whereever the butt end of the blade hosel ends inside of the shaft).

Although, I HAVE always been curious to see exactly how hard it is to remove - if you do it, write what ended up happening.
