Tyler Roy 86 Report post Posted September 14, 2013 Anybody else hear from Bauer that production of the 11.0 helmets will be delayed because of some remodeling or some sort of recall. I guess they are adding more padding to a new shell but didn't hear why. I wonder if they will recall the ones sent for retail while waiting to "retool" and produce the new version for custom orders.My understanding is that the PoronXD foam had an adhesive issue. Tyler Roy 86 Report post Posted October 8, 2013 From what I heard the production on the 7.0 has been on the same schedule as normal(2-3 weeks). They are not changing the 7.0 because I believe the problem is with the poron foam only in the 11.0 Will the IMS 7.0 be affected? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

JR Boucicaut 3813 Report post Posted October 9, 2013 Just ride it out if the helmet is fine.What happens in some situations is that the adhesive comes off and it stretches the Poron, and doesn't sit right on the helmet.We've sold quite a few and I've only seen one come back.
