Looking to pick up some cheap pants

Recommended Posts

So I started playing on the ice earlier this year. I originally bought bauer supreme total ones, but before even wearing them on the ice, I decided they were too big and bulky and decided to try out a girdle. I ended up getting the warrior project girdle from recommendations on here. I like the feel of it, and as far as I can tell I feel more mobile in it, but I would like to try a pair of traditional pants out to compare them to. Also when I play I sweat like a pig, and alternating between the two occasionally would be nice.

Initially, I thought the supreme total ones were too big, but I think that was just me not really knowing how bulky hockey pants are. Im not looking for anything super fancy. Most of the time I just play pick up with some kids at our rink. For games I'd probably wear the girdle anyway, so im mainly looking for another pair of practice pants.

I see a lot of people wear the one80 or one60, but i noticed they are discontinued for the most part. Im looking for something like that - pretty popular, sort of the default go to pants for the average player.

Also - my pant cover is kinda beat that im using for the projekts, any recommendations for a new one? Im currently using this: http://www.ultimatehockeyonline.com/products/Tackla-TGS60-Senior-Tall-Girdle-Shell.html?gclid=COeC-YfG5bkCFQSf4AodHjAATQ and I'm not a huge fan of the stretchy waist that comes up all the way. Can I just buy a normal shell like this: http://www.montrealhockey-usa.com/pant_tsp50.html ??
