Just noticed today is the 20th anniversary of "Operation Gothic Serpent", probably much better known as the "black hawk down" incident. For those too young to remember when this went down, it's worth reading up on.

If there was never a book and movie nobody would ever have known about this incident and the bravery exhibited by the men who were there.
