Best Bauer pants

Hey,

My pants have finally deteriorated to the point where I need new ones. Im looking into Bauer cause I like their stuff found it very durable but not really familiar with what to look for in hockey pants.

I just play mens league now so I don't need the highest end stuff but I don't want heavy cheap pants either. Any recommendations? I was at hockey life last week briefly and saw bauer pants that looked and felt the same go between $70-130....

Honestly I couldn't tell you. Im looking towards the X:4/X:5s

The X:40 are down from $160 to $90 right now..

I upgraded to bauer supreme's a few years ago and they work pretty good. The supremes from what I understand, or at least the ones I got, have a bit less padding. Should still be enough to protect from pucks etc, but they are a lot lighter which is nice. If you're not playing contact and don't have to worry about getting put on your ass as much, then something lighter like the supremes might be good.

I had Reeboks before in Large but they were always a bit loose around my waist , felt heavy too

There are 3 lines of bauer pants and they all fit differently.

For 2013:

Supreme, closest fit

Vapor, tapered fit, tighter at the top, wider legs

Nexus, classic loose fit

For 2012 and older

Supreme, classic loose fit

Vapor, same as 2013

Vapor pants tend to have a standard waist and slimmer legs, not the other way around.

From Bauer: Standard fit at the top, close fit at the bottom.

I think it should also be noted that the 2013 Supremes are only girdle/shell style.
