Trying to find my "perfect" blade pattern.

Recommended Posts

I have both a bauer kane and warrior gionta. the gionta is my favorite i can shoot where ever i want, sometimes too high. However its weak on puck control whereas the kane rocks there.

trying to find a middle ground possibly bauer p92 or bauer toews?

does warrior have a pattern like those? I like warrior sticks better than bauers.

Warrior's W3/Kopitar is a p92 clone. On their older sticks such as the dolomite it'll be under Draper.

Ive heard that the kopitar is a p92 clone ive also heard the same of the savard.

what ive seen online the kopitar is an open face were the p92 isnt. Not sure if the open face is the reason but my old forsberg easton was my most hated pattern ever.

unfortunatly my lhs dosnt carry warriors to see in person.

P92 has an open face, don't know why you would say it doesn't. The W3/kopitar (Henrique) is a clone of the p92/sakic/e3/hall and so on.

Just looked at the easton chart. Yep you appear to be correct. I don't know why but in some charts they look diffrent than others. unless Eason changed the Hall which would be doubtful. Thanks bro.

Have you considered Iginla? Toe curve (like the Toews), and a nice easy simple overall curve, closed face. I am about to give this pattern a try, after having come from Kopitar (P92)/ Zetterberg (P or W88). 5.5 lie, small paddle, so I will likely just be using it for when I play F. For D, Zetterberg suits me.

Iginla is not, and has never been, a toe curve. If you want to compare it to anything, it's most similar to a P88
