I NEED new skates very badly, but I am getting married in the fall and pretty much all my money is going towards that and a honeymoon, so spending 200 plus on skates right now is out of the question. I really dont want to buy cheap skates so I was trying to find older models of skates that used to be top end skates but now are more affordable. The only ones i can find on the internet are the original vapors, I have never worn them but I remember a lot of kids used to have them and I think they were pretty top end. If I could get a pair of these for 60-80 bucks would it be a deal?

eBay has lots of older pro stock skates right now, so you mate have luck going that route.

Hockey Monkey has a lot of the vapors from 2 years ago on closeout in a lot of sizes plus 20% off..might be worth looking there.

Are you talking about the 4.0 that was released around 2011? If so, I have a pair of x:30's which are essentially the same skate. Anything under $100 for that skate is an excellent deal. They are very similar to the current x70.
