Vet88 674 Report post Posted January 28, 2014 There is no lace bite protection in either, it's just an old school leather and felt tongue. From new it's ok for a little while but the tongue breaks down fast so if you have any lace bite issues it will be a problem inside of 2 months. Option B straps fixes it, if you can stand wearing them. Otherwise I just skip lacing the 2nd to 4th eyelets and this fixed my lace bite. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
