Has anybody on the forum used both an e28 and e36 for an extended period of time that can offer their opinion on the curves? Interested in hearing a head to head comparison between the two if one exists....

Currently use a heatley and I'm looking to try something new.

I've used the E28, P88 (E36 Clone) and E3 curves.

I love the rocket wristshots I can get out of the E28, but my stickhandling goes to absolute hell with it. The P88 is great for stickhandling and passing, but I feel like it's harder to lift the puck and my shots seem to have a lot less velocity. I'm settled comfortably in between the two with an E3 Curve (P92 Backstrom in Bauer sticks). The E28 really got me to change my shooting style (especially with the hypertoe in the V-Series sticks) so unless you're ready to try and adapt to the style of wrist/snapshot the curve was built for (from the toe, rather than the middle of the blade), I'd recommend looking to either the E36 or E3.

Similarities are that they're both a lie 5, other than that they play quite differently. One is an open faced toe curve and one is a conservatively open mid curve.

Guys has anyone played with the Easton E36 (5 lie) and the E3 (5.5) lie.

I know both curves use a fair bit of rocker..

The reason i ask is, i usually use a E3, and tried out a 5lie Easton heatley (which has no rocker in comparison). Would the E36 be a smoother transition due to the rocker when going from a 5.5 lie?
