Coffey Curve replacement blades?

Recommended Posts

scored a hat trick tonight with my new Sher-Wood 9050 Coffey. Two of them on the backhand, no-less :D

the third on a short range snap shot.

No problems passing either. probably had about 80% completion on my passes and 4 assists. I think I was +7 for the game.

Love this blade and these Easton Ultra Lite shafts are fantastic!

Can't want to try the Combat 52 cal blade I just ordered.

You can get Sherwood rm19 and t90 blades with the Coffey curve. I've used better but they're not bad for the price

I'm thinking the open face of the Lidstrom won't be good for passing. The Coffey is great though. The eurocurve was pretty good too, but they haven't made that since like 94.

I loved Montreal's Coffey curve, P.C. It had a nice thicker blade at the nose which lent it weight for pulling the puck back in and nice launching mass for snappy wrist shots. I wish I could still get that blade, only in graphite. I think Frontier may still make it, but it's hard to tell from their website, and in any case, if they make it, it's only in wood.

Coffey FeatherLite = Dangerous when in close and need to pop it past the 11" pads. Makes my jaw drop everytime I see one at Canadian Tire. Loved pairing it with oldschool INNO shaft for street. Coffey Curve is the Chuck Norris of blades.
