best shin guards for defenceman?

After having taken a hard shot in the shins last week, I am feeling that my Sher Wood 5030 are a bit, how shall I say, deficient. I haven't found any shins specifically marketed to d-men, but some make or model has to be preferred. I want to have no fear of breaking shins when blocking shots.

What say you, oh sage members of this forum?

I normally recommend Warrior or Reebok when looking for very protective gear. I'd also throw Nexus gear in there

Warrior Dynasty AX1's. I play D and have taken some cannons off my shins blocking shots without a worry at all....

Have some reebok 11 k which are bulky but take a hit like a tank. May be able to score some cheap if can find em

My 11k's are tanks. Look for them or 20k.
