G3 Flex Profile

Recommended Posts

I got a Reebok A2T "Pisani" pro-stock broken stick that I converted to a shaft, and it suits my shooting styles the most. The name-plate used to have "G3" on it, so I'm assuming that it is a G3 flex profile.

Does anybody know what the G3 flex profile is, and are there any shafts that are made with that kind of profile?

People feel free to clarify (and they will ;)), but from what I know, G3 is just any custom flex profile (ie. not the standard mid kick for an NXG or a low kick for a Vapor). However, it has been said that the Nexus sticks' flex profile is based off of the G3, so that would suggest it is a single flex point...because you can't really standardize player x, y, and z's flex profiles into a constant flex profile sold retail!

G3 isn't a reebok/CCM prostock flex profile. Somewhere on the shaft it should say FC, FV, SC, SV, SS, TL, HD, M or S. Those are all of the available flex profiles within Reebok/CCM.

I can't find any of these codes (or any code except maybe "A2T", but that doesn't even come close), but that's probably because it was probably hacked off or chipped off during play.

I wish that I had paid more attention to the broken stick when I first got it. Even when I got it (broken pro stock 1-piece), it was already used quite a bit, and I don't even know what year it was made. I don't know exactly when Pisani retired, or last used Reebok.

Thanks for the help, everybody; it looks like I will need to experiment again with some other broken sticks that I picked up to find something similar.

Talking to some other people, maybe that broken stick was a mid-flex. Most of the broken sticks that I've been converting to shafts had low kick points, so maybe a mid-flex suits me better.
