Skates Cutting Foot At Ankle

I have a pair of CCM RBZ skates that have about 20 skates on them. I don't lace the top eyelet. My issue is I am getting a cut on my ankle. I'm assuming that the cut is coming from the material above the top eyelet around the top of the boot.

I have tried a heat gun to bend that portion away from my ankle. I have also used some moleskin (which didn't stay on through the game) so prevent the cut.

Anyone have any other ideas to prevent this?

Bungapad or wrap ankles with pre-wrap over the moleskin.

Bungas are good but I expensive. I was having I similar problem and I fixed it for around $5. Go to where ever they sell women's shoes and you should be able to find clear gel inserts that are made for the heel. They are self adhesive and reusable. Just put them over the problem area and under your socks and they will stay in place I picked mine up at target. I've been using them for 3 months now and the problem is gone and they are holding up great and skate 3-4 times a week.

RBZ are a great skate but they missed the mark on comfort. I had to stop using mine, too many phantom pain issues.
