most protective graf skate

does anyone have any insight on what the most protective graf model skate would be? I play d and like to jin the play but the graf skates I have do not offer very much protection I have the graf g 7 and just got a pair of ultra 35 neither pair seem to offer very much protection thanks in advance

I have a pair , I haven't worn them yet I took a shot to the side of my foot n my bauer one 90 and couldn't wear a skate for two weeks , next day bought them and still haven't worn them , just wanted to see if graf had a skate that was at least as protective as my bauers

^{+2 on Skate Fenders. I have Graf Ultra G5's and over a year ago blocked a slapshot, well it hit me on the outside of my right skate, right above the holder and basically in the middle of the outside of my foot. Resulted in a fractured 5th metatarsal and nearly 6 months off of the ice. (just to be safe)}

You're better off just wearing some sort of shot blocker. Despite wearing a stiffer boot (Total Ones) I was on crutches for a few days after my ankle swelled up from a shot block.

No skate offers decent protection against a well hit shot, and some skates offer no protection against even a poorly hit shot!. Skate fenders are the only answer if you want to continue playing after taking a shot to the foot.
