edge holder vs. speed blade holder mounting holes question

i currently have speed blade holders on my vh skates. I want to put edge holders on the skates but hopefully won't have to drill. does anyone know if the holes for the edge holder and speed blade match up?

The holes are the same. Question, why change holders? Other than a 30 second difference betwenn changing out runners, there really isn't any advantage going to the Edges.
