CCM Tacks- Cracked

Is this a crack that I need to start attending to? They're only a couple months old.

Wow. That must have taken a lot of force to do that, since that composite outsole is very stiff. How did that happen?

Anyway, doesn't look like it cracked in a spot that's gonna cause major problems, but imho, you do want to prevent it from becoming worse. Maybe you can bond it someway so the crack doesn't have a chance to expand? Doubt CCM would cover it under warranty, but doesn't hurt to try?

That looks more like a nick from a skate, to me at least.

It's chipped carbon fiber, it's not just the paint. I don't know if it will keep cracking deeper into the outsole if I don't patch it somehow.

Epoxy might be your best bet and I would think it should work fine to keep the crack from expanding or the carbon fiber from fraying.

I'd suggest contacting CCM Warranty department and see what they will offer up.

That being said, you should see my 20K's from 2 years ago and you would not be worrying about a baby nick like that.
