That's what it is. That's Yannic Seidenberg, the brother of NHL D-man Dennis Seidenberg. He's playing for my local pro franchise.

The patches on the arms are no advertising. That's the logo of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL).

The redish circle on the chest is the logo of the Deutscher Eishockey Bund, an entity that organizes all leagues form the elite DEL to the local leagues.

On the refs' yellow helmets there's an ad, though. It's for the yellow pages.

...I can't figure out whether I like the look of the skates or not...

I'm going to get fitted for my replacement G-35s in the next few weeks...maybe I can pay a few extra bucks and have the new ones done like that
