iammerson 19 Report post Posted March 10, 2015 I know I am almost possible this can't be done but just thought I would ask anyway. So I have a Reebok 8K helmet which I love. Unfortunately the lining is falling out. Now I have gotten replacement padding before and eventually the same thing happens. I was wondering that if I went to a local pro shop or even mailed the helmet where ever if I could replace the gel padding for the padding found in a Bauer 4500 helmet. Again I except all ridicule full well knowing this is probably not possible lol.Any help will be greatly appreciated thank you. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
althoma1 575 Report post Posted March 10, 2015 I don't think any shop would do it due to liability issues. Changing the padding would void the certification.With that said, if you search you may be able to find an 8K pro stock helmet with VN padding (that's the type of padding used in the Bauer 4500). Many pros prefer VN padding so you'll find pro VN versions of helmets that usually use EPP at the retail level. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
