New gear

I am looking to upgrade some of my gear and was wondering a few things.

My skates are actually NIKE Bauer so fairly old. They are the Vapor 25. My question is, does/has Bauer changed how the Vapors fit? That is, the Vapor 25 fits really well, if I buy are more current version of the Vaport, should if fit the same way once baked?

I also have an pair of Tackla pants and they are all fine but what I didn't realize when I bought them was that I have short thighs. So the waist of my current pants are fine, but are just a little long. Is there a particular manufacturer who has shorter pant legs?

Any help would be appreciated.

Tackla has short option. I don't think all shops have it though. Keep looking. Also I know a few short players who go w/ INT pants.

This. CCM is gaining quite the reputation for having short legs recently. Good for some people, bad for others.
