tacks stick

Recommended Posts

....being a long time S 19 , SE 16 as well as EQ50 pro stock user I think I can say I am pretty spoiled as far as stick usage is concerned ...due to the fact that I broke the blade on my last SE16 2 weeks ago and I cannot find a replacement in my curve and flex ( 75to 85ish and drury leftie ) I tried the tacks 5052 in curve europe19.....which is a lot milder than the US/ Can 19 .....however ....I liked the stick and could adapt to the curve easily ...but something did not feel 100% ok .

as we were heading for play off semi finals this week I decided to give the original tacks a shot .....retailing close to the equivalent of 400$ in our country it was no easy decision .....i would have never pulled the trigger on it if I had not gotten it deeply discounted ....it seems like ccm/rbk sticks do not move at all in our store this year.

first game, first play-off goal as a stay at home D ...no problems whatsoever ....and the stick is only 30 grams lighter than the 5052 ...but it feels so much better than the 5052 ....

...anybody else can confirm here ?? thx , chris

" but it feels so much better " !!!!

....that the tacks ...being only 30 grams lighter , offers much better puck feeling and overall performance that the tacks 5052 ...easy as that !!

Tough to confirm something so subjective, but yes... I confirm. The high end Tacks stick has amazing feel, compared to all sticks I have used. I'd imagine the same is true to even their own lesser models.
