Easton rs ii flex question

Recommended Posts

So I just got a 100 flex RS ii and cut it down two inches.

I usually use an 85 flex (bauer nxg) so I expected the stick to be very stiff, especially after I cut it, but it feels very whippy. I have a 65 flex int 65s and it seems like the rsii is only slightly stiffer(maybe 10 more flex points) than that.

Is the rs ii supposed to be this whippy? Or did i get a defective stick?

My rs IIs at 75 flex were really whippy. By the end of the season they were probably down to 60 flex.

and that's with me cutting a bit off

I found the RS2 to be slightly softer, just like its stated above, but I didnt think it was extremely soft. The 75s I had felt like 70s and the 85s that I had felt like 80s. I find it hard to believe that the 100 flex that you cut is similar in flex to a 65 flex like you said.

yeah I agree. in my experience eastons have played whippier than other manufacturers, but I don't think the difference is 35 flex points in any case. makos maybe the biggest difference of their lines to me. Not as much experience with the RS2 other then playing around with one a bit in a store shooting booth, so take it for what its worth.

i dont know, seems pretty whippy. Unless the 65 flex is extremely stiff. The cut down rs ii seems like a 75-80

Lower end sticks tend to feel stiffer, in my opinion. That said, if the 100 flex feels that similar to the 65 then you probably didn't get a 100 flex after all.

Feels slightly stiffer, maybe a 75-85 cut down two inches.
