Gloves: Nexus 800 or Warrior AX1?

Currently have the APX2 and really don't like the style or the feel of the Ax-Suede palm. I feel like I can't feel my stick or the puck at all so I'm trying to move over to 4 rolls.

Which has the thinner palm do you guys think? I heard Nexus is thick and I like the idea of the dot grip on the AX1, but don't want to spend 180 dollars only to find out on ice is different. Thanks.

I like both. A lot. I have a pair of pro stock AX1's from pro stock hockey dot com. 170 with a ten percent off code makes them 153. They have the micronash Palm which I like WAY better than what is on the retail AX1. The retail ax1 got real stiff and crusty on mine. I sold them.

The nexus 800 are real nice too. Different shape/fit compared to AX1.

Can you try them on? The pro stock palm I'm talking about is what used to be on franchise and will now be on the QR PRO retail gloves.

Why not the AX2? They have very nice palms, they're much lighter than the AX1s and the value is great.

The AX1 thumbs are super stiff. Nexus 800 has the flex thumb and the classic Clarino palms which have the best feel. Check out the new CCM 4 Roll Pros too, slightly stiffer thumb than the Nexus gloves but also a great 4 Roll option. Great ventilation and soft palms
