mjpisat 36 Report post Posted May 19, 2015 I do a lot of shooting off the toe....snappers....pull it in let it rip....Would I have to change much going to e36? When I line them up they look somewhat similar until the toe of e36

Do you have a store that has a shooting area?I have gone from a toe curve to a PM9-type curve, and I had to stop shooting off the toe. Maybe you could still do it with an e36/p88. ktang 34 Report post Posted May 24, 2015 I see this as the OP wanting to practice and prepare, properly, in advance of playing the game. However, I do recognize that the concept of skill development and focused practice is a concept that old people have trouble with. With proper practice and preparation, there would be no thinking and hence no overthinking during the game. chippa13 1844 Report post Posted May 24, 2015 Practice and prepare all you like. That is a good thing if you're trying to cure poor technique or if you're looking to fine tune or to stay sharp. What I frown on are the folks who switch from something that works and try to force their body into something else.Every player is different. That is why there are many curves and lies to choose from.
mjpisat 36 Report post Posted May 24, 2015 I agree with over thinking everything. I should have given more detail. Though shooting FOR ME works with the e28, I have some issues with stick handling, passing, catching passes with that curve. Was thinking about trying a curve that has more blade on the ice hence the e36. So was wondering if I'd have to switch much up shooting wise to get what I THINK would be more effective passing etc.
