Supreme 180 vs x800 vapor

Recommended Posts

These are both number three from the top. Same holders and steel. And does that mean the pitch will be the same? Or my missing something

One is a Supreme skate (common classification: more "neutral" pitch, anatomical fit), the other a Vapor skate (common classification: more "aggressive forward" pitch, V-shap fit). Completely different skates.

Pitch isn't just dependent on holder + steel, but also boot construction.

What does "anatomical" fit mean?

I have super skinny feet. My D-width Vapor 7.0's fit great through the instep and ankle. I have a lot of room in the toes and forefoot.

Do Supremes actually fit narrower?

(I'm the victim of having no LHS within 2 hours...and the one 2+hrs away is closed..so I have to rely on internet info.

Pitch as in the angle of the ankle/upper of the boot?

With the same holder and steel, there isn't much room for pitch. Vapor soles are relatively thin...they don't have any built in shim/thickness in the heel, do they?
