It can be surprising how quickly a topic that was just on the front page gets buried two or three back. In general, I rely on Google's site search (for example, "channel-z sharpening site:modsquadhockey.com") when I'm looking for something specific on here. It just works much better for me. It tends to rank results with the search term in the title much higher than the MSH-search engine does.

You can access the Google site search by clicking on the gray part of the search box. And I agree, it is the most effective tool for searching the site.
