Zorlac

help on ordering... pant fit.

Recommended Posts

Folks,

I have a pair of CCM CS pants, the fit is great but they are too short. Mediums. I'm about 5'9. I ALSO have Vapor X7.0 pants. Mediums. length is OK.. but snug in the thighs.

Looking for a pant that has a more traditional fit. I figured the Bauer NEXUS line might be best. I want a LONGER fit in a medium pant, with a roomier overall feel.

I'm around 5'9, about 165.

thanks all...

I think I remember people saying that CCM now makes their pants longer. So you might want to look into the equivalent newer model of your current CCM pants. I think it's the CCM RBZ. The RBZ pants have a feature where you can unzip part of the pant to make it one inch longer.

The CCM HP45x has the same fit as the CCM CL/CS pant, but with a +1 zipper. I own a pair and they fit me great. 5'8", 160lb. I haven't used the +1 zipper as they seem to fit perfect lengthwise.

I've gone through several pairs of pants/girdles and here's how they fit me (when compared to the CCM CL/CS line):

Pants:

- Medium one95 pants (similar fit to the newer Nexus) - wide waist with traditional legs

- Large one95 pants (similar fit to the newer Nexus) - very wide waist with wide/long legs

- Medium Covert pants - slightly wider waist with contoured legs

- Medium Hustler pants - very wide waist with traditional legs

- Small Hustler pants - wide waist with traditional legs

- Large CL pants - slightly wide waist with wide legs (I had a very broken in pair)

- Large x60 pants - slightly wide waist with contoured/medium-length legs

Girdles:

- Medium 9K girdle - wide waist with traditional legs

- Medium one95 girdle - contoured waist with contoured legs (fit too long lengthwise)

- Small Supreme girdle - contoured waist with contoured legs (fit nice around the waist and legs, but lacked back protection--tried on a MX3 girdle and I found it very stiff and uncomfortable)

- Medium x60 girdle - slightly contoured waist with semi-contoured legs (fits more like a pant, where it doesn't wrap nearly as tight as the Supreme girdle)

I'm currently swapping between the medium HP45X pants and medium x60 girdle, but I mainly wear the x60 girdle because I like the slightly loose contour wrap around the hips with a semi-tight wrap around the legs.

But for you, I'd recommend trying a medium Nexus or a medium Hustler, as both run wide in the waist, but maintain a standard medium length. Just note that you made need to wear suspenders as the pants' waists fit fairly wide. Personally, I avoid most medium pants because they tend to run too large on me in the waist (both the HP45X pant and x60 girdle fit like a small pant in the waist with a medium length), but to each their own.
