Ashtasticness 89 Report post Posted September 7, 2015 And I am SO nervous. I've been going to skill building classes where we run drills. I have no idea what position I am yet or where each person needs to be on the ice. I won't meet my team until 30 minutes before the game lol.Anywho, any advice for beginners? Vet88 674 Report post Posted October 7, 2015 I could almost guarantee they will slot you in on the wing. When on defence look after the opposition D man and when on attack get to the net and don't get offside. Skate hard, try to always keep moving and don't shift for more than a minute. Then use your friend google for advice and watch some nhl games and follow a player to see what he does on and off the puck. Good luck and have fun.
