Couldnt have been said better!

Just remember the Alkali's are really thermoformable. They almost feel like they shrink wrap to your foot (in a good way). I have the Shift+ and really love them.

I tried on CCM, Alkali and Bauers and ended up with the 1XR

the boots fit perfectly and surround my ankles and heel better than the other brands.

just go to a shop and try on everything in your price range.

37.5 is a bit of a game changer along with the speed plate puts the 1XR at the top feature wise.

But would you pay the extra for those features?
