What is the most mobile elbow in current 10years?

I agree that the white Warrior Projekts were super mobile and comfortable, however; after a hard fall I discovered they weren't as protective as other pads I'd used. I moved on to the blue and grey versions and while they felt a little bulkier at first (especially the forearm area) they're quite mobile when in use, more protective and they locked my arm in place a bit better (I was also able to move from mediums in the white version to my usually size large in the blue and grey ones).

So in terms of pure comfort and mobility I'd rank the white Projekts number 1 in the pads I've used, but the blue and grey ones are a close second and offer better arm lock (for me) and protection. That's why I horded a few pairs when they went on clearance.

When I was searching for replacements for my white projekts I tried on every top of the line pad at the time and the only thing that came close to the blue and grey Projekts was the CCM CL pads. I found the large CCM CL pads a bit tight for me though and the blue and grey Projekts more comfortable. From the CCM CL threads here it seems that the middle strap had durability issues, but they fixed that in the RBZ line.

Since then the pads I've come across that I'd consider if my Projekt stockpile was depleted are the STX Surgeon 500 or CCM RBZ line. So if you can find a pair of old stock Projekts (size down for the white versions and use your normal size for the blue ones) then they're a great option for mobility, but if that doesn't happen then the Surgeon 500 or something in the RBZ line are likely your best options for a mobile elbow pad.

Maybe that's why I hated the blue/grey version so much. I ordered them in the same size as the white model.

Also, I really couldn't think of a better place to post this (or if it's even allowed...) but there was a pair of white and black (the pro version of the 2010 model) projekts at hockey monkey today in Irvine. No idea why they'd have them but they did. Size Large. If anyone lives in that area, I'd jump on them if I were you.

After reading this thread, I've been thinking want to wear and use the Warrior Projekt elbows someday. But never found any shop or auction who have it. Sometime size.Large can be found on the eBay but my size is small... It's hard to find.

My problem... Probably my size is S/small on each models. So it's hard to find my size if my finding was not existing model.

It can be said the same thing for shoulder pads. I've been watching eBay constantly to get CCM Vector or Warrior Koncept/Projekt series etc. Usually it is M, L or XL if I could find. Especially "pro stock" protectors are arguably bigger than M.

In mobile elbow pads which you guys nominated, I felt that 3 piece construction is better for elbow's mobility.

I generally believe the same (3 piece being more mobile). Since the human elbow is a singular point of motion and 2 piece pad that's properly designed and fitted should be plenty mobile. The problem is the elbow sits too deep into the pad. I'm currently using the Tacks pad and I've been very happy with it. Stays in place and has enough mobility where I don't notice it.
