I haven't looked at the value of hockey cards lately but I'd imagine you could get a mint Gretzky rookie card for less than the sweater. I've seen a lot of "Next Ones" fail to live up and I think Crosby will be like a Joe Sakic or Forsberg type player so that kind of money is insane. His stolen jersey would be worth nothing to the theif because if he tried to sell it in a couple years it would be ovious who the seller was.
