Coming from CCM RBZ 90

Recommended Posts

I have had a pair of CCM RBZ 90 skates since they came out. Probably going to be getting a new pair of new skates soon and was wondering which line of skates would be a good guideline to look at for fit. I wear a D width in the RBZ 90's but find my heel doesn't lock the best, it seems to have a bit too much volume. I have a bit of a wider foot, I've worn Vapors before in a EE width but I didn't think they were the best fit for my foot. Might have been a tad too tight in the arches from what I remember. Anyone have some suggestions to look at?

Thanks

Honestly, by your definition, an EE width Supreme might do the trick, or even a D width.

At the end of the day, I'd just go get fit by a professional in your area. If you're in Vancouver, the best place would be The Hockey Shop in Surrey.

Jetspeed or Surpreme should do the trick. Try on the D first. If that fits too tight, throw on the EE.

Thanks for the help guys, and yeah that's what I was planning on doing. Getting fitted properly, I've been recommended to go there so I will go there soon.

The guys at the skate bench at THS will accommodate anything they can. Let them know about any foot issues you have, pitch/profiling needs, and also look into the Superfeet insoles - they're all trained to fit them correctly (might all be certified, too).
