GmC 4 Report post Posted January 29, 2016 I purchased on eBay what was advertised as a Pro Stock Oakley VR903. The pricing was fair.Upon receipt of the item I found that it was a knockoff. Contacted the seller who had a good reputation and a refund was issued. What gave it away?1. the plastic finish around the curve of the visor actually has a semi rough finish on the prostock/retail ones I ve had. The one sent from seller is smooth.2. the Oakley logo on VR903s is flush with the back edge and the one sent is not. See attached picture. Getty images of recent editorial pictures will show evidence that the pro stock versions are flush as well.3. The finish on visor of knockoff sent to me has film that seems like it is about to flake off.4.The vertical ridge on real VR903s by the logo is not as pronounced as the one sent to me.So this is just a FYI and a buyer beware as there are fake VR903s out there that are quite good. laserrobottime 149 Report post Posted January 30, 2016 fairly certain that is a tron visor.Yes, it would appear to be. Before anyone jumps on the seller, it could be a mistake. I've seen players and EQMs slap logos on things that aren't original, and it happens more in minor pro and junior leagues where budgets are tight.
