Hockey96 0 Report post Posted January 5, 2005 I absolutely hate eligibility in High School. Ive been en-eligible for 5 1/2 weeks now because I cant seem to get my grades up. I missed it by 1 measly point. How gay is that..I mean I tihnk a teacher should just give it to you. Its dissapointing because I love playing. I know its my fault for having my grades so low but I worked hard to get them up. Just thought id fill you guys in on whats up!
CaseyJones_86 0 Report post Posted January 5, 2005 I know it's bull. I didn't even get academic probation, one day the athletic director was like see ya. It sucks because they take away the one thing that keeps you going to school(at least for me at the time).
JR Boucicaut 3791 Report post Posted January 5, 2005 Sounds like you guys need to get your priorities straight :)My parents used to ban me from playing hockey and baseball if I got bad grades, and they weren't even school sports.
GekigangarIII 0 Report post Posted January 5, 2005 Here's a novel idea, if you want to play hockey, get your grades up. If you want to let your teammates and yourself down then slack off. Don't blame your performance on a teacher, the only person you have to blame is yourself. Now, get off this message board and go study

Dan_The_Man_16 0 Report post Posted January 6, 2005 I get the same deal as you did JR. I always get very good grades so my dads standards are a little higher for me. If my marks drop too much he won't hesitate to pull me right off any team I am on. Your education is the most important thing you will ever receive. Make sure you make the most of it.
