Reebok 20P00 SR jersey sizing

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I'd like to order one of these online, but I want to make sure I get the right sizing as Im getting a number pressed on to it.  I tried going to a few local hockey stores to try them on but they don't have them.

I'm 5'10", 190-195 lbs, (muscular build) and I do not wear shoulder pads while playing.

What size should I order in the Reebok 20P00, anyone have any experience with these? I tried searching this forum and others and unable to find info im looking for.

Thanks guys,

James

I'm 5'9" and 195ish... I wore a size L in that jersey without shoulder pads and XL with pads.  But we may have different preferences.

hockeymonkey shows a size chart.  My real advice would be to pull out your favorite fitting jersey and a tape measure... and match it up to that chart to determine your best option.

I never tried the 10200.  only the 10100, but the size chart claims the sizing is the same... I don't know how accurate that is, though.

In that one, I can actually wear the large with pads.  I've worn it without pads as well, and it's roomy, but not so much that I wanted a medium.

I still advise measuring your favorite jersey, though.  How I like things to fit may be completely different than your desires.

Thats the problem I dont really have a favourite jersey, lol.  I need to place the order today to have it ready this week and im not home to measure what  i have, thats why i was hoping to find someone with similar build stats to compare to.

Im leaning towards getting a large in the 10200, but im afraid of it being to baggy withoud pads.  And im afraid the medium will be too snug around the hips/pants.

you should probably be fine with the large.  It might not be a perfectly streamlined fit, but it also wont be huge enough to make you look like an idiot.

The jersey size charts seem to be accurate enough to be reliable.

I find the Reebok 20P00 fits closer to the body and doesn't have a lot of "give", while the CCM 10200 is roomy and stretches easily when pulling it over equipment.  My chest size is 38", so the 10200 in Medium gives me room around the torso where the armpits are measured (23" x 2 = 46"), esp. with shoulder pads on, whereas I might need a 20P00 in Large to feel the same.  I tried on my son's 20P00 in size Small one time, and I could barely get it over my pads.  Even though you don't wear shoulder pads now, you might in the future, so I would err on the larger side If choosing the Reebok 20P00.

I def wont ever wear shoulder pads lol.

I ended up ordering a Large in the 10200, Ill  let you know how it fits. I already know its going to run bigger then I want, But I also have a feeling the medium might be a bit tight.
