Non stock cages for CCM resistance helmet

I just acquired a CCM resistance helmet and need to add a cage to it.

 

Other than the matching resistance cage, does anyone have experience fitting other cages/fishbowls to this?

 

i thought I would just swap over my 11k cage and call it a day but the spacing on the holes is completely different.

If you like your current cage, why not just drill a few new holes?

I was able to mount my Reakt M cage on my Resistance M without a problem; however I went back to the stock one as it feels slightly longer.

The top holes haven't been an issue, but the J-clips don't sit flush with the cage which is why I had to replace them with "traditional" ones (without the shock absorber) and drill a new hole into the J-clip in order to get my cage into a proper position. To be fair, I had to do the same with most my helmets.

id rather not drill the helmet.   plus I just assume sell my old helmet as a combo....

 

I'm interested in the hybrid shield from Bauer or an oreo cage from Bauer.
