Nervous about a deal

On January 1st I agreed to buy some stuff from a member.

On January 3rd I sent out the money order, and sent him a PM letting him know I sent the money order out, and asking him if he wouldn't mind sending out the stuff before he gets the money because I need it fairly quickly.

I havn't heard anything, not even a reply acknowledging that I sent the money. I havn't heard from him in 8 days, and it's been 6 days since I sent the money, so I'm starting to get a bit nervous. I don't want to cancel the MO or anything like that, but is there some way I can get in contact with a member if I don't have AIM?

Has it been settled? If it's a long time member you dealt with I wouldnt be too worried, however he should be communicating a little better. hope it work out .

Did you write down the number of your money order? When I made a deal, I just sent the seller my money order and he sent my sticks with the tracking number. Good seller = )

Yeah, we got it settled. His computer crashed so he couldn't get online, but he got the money and shipped it out. I wish there was an easier way of doing things than a money order or paypal, because I hate paypal and money orders can be tedious.

The first few times sucks as you dont know the other person. As a buyer find 3 maybe 4 people you can trust and stick with that.

Most here can be trusted but its a good rule of thumb to follow. Being a seller is much easier. You get product when I get money. 99% of the time I have been very lucky as a buyer or seller on here or ebay.
